Your e-Aadhaar is an electronic form of your Aadhaar card. This means you can use your e-Aadhaar for various government check's. Just like the Aadhaar card, e-Aadhaar has all the necessary information such as your biometric data, demographics, Aadhaar number, photograph and general information including name, date of birth and sex. To use your e-Aadhaar, you need to download it.

How To Download Aadhaar Card by Aadhaar Number


Step 1. Have Your Aadhaar Card orregistration number ready
If you do not have your Aadhaar: Get your enrollment number ready with the time and date provided in the acknowledgment slip.

If you have your Aadhaar number: keep your Aadhaar Card number easily.


Step 2. Visit The UIDAI Website
Login on to the official Website UIDAI https://uidai.gov.in/ and see the section titled Aadhaar Online Services. Click on here and enter all the required details. It includes the following:

• Enrollment ID / Aadhaar Card Number / VID

• Full Name

• The Zip Code

• Security Code

Step 3. Request for TOTP / OTP
Once this is complete, you will come to the section where you need to enter TOTP. If it does not, click Request OTP.



Step 4. Enter OTP
In a few seconds you will receive an OTP. Enter the same into the provided field.

Step 5. Download e-Aadhaar PDF
To open the e-Aadhaar PDF file, you need to enter the password. Your password along with your year of birth will be the first four letters of your name. Make sure your name letters are entered in capital's. For example, if your name is Thomas and your birth year is 1989, your password will be THOM1989.

Enrollment ID

 Date:/Time (dd/mm/yyyy hh: mm: ss)

 Security code

If you have recently applied for Aadhaar card and are awaiting its issuance, you can get Aadhaar card status by following these 6 steps:

• Keep your enrollment slip handy.

• Login to the official UIDAI Website https://uidai.gov.in/

• On the home page, look at the Aadhaar Status option and click on it. This is the page that opens.

• Your 14-digit enrollment ID (EID) number will be asked for, along with a 14-digit time stamp. Enter the same. Make sure the time stamp is entered in this format: dd / mm / yyyy hh: mm: ss as mentioned in your enrollment slip

• After submitting this, you will be prompted to enter the given security captcha code. Enter it carefully without any mistakes.

•  Now click on the check status status button to provide your app's Aadhaar status.
